snaps episode 03: santa barbara, california
I visited Santa Barbara yet again, this time for UCSB + AKPsi alumni weekend, the highlight of which was a brunch at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum with a stunning view of the marina, and it was so much fun, as always.
I loved Alumni Weekend as an undergrad, because it was like a big reunion, but it was so nice and also bittersweet coming back for the first time as an alumni to my now-alma mater.
We are honestly cute AF
I also got to see my frat family again, all six of them! It's surprisingly difficult to schedule with seven people, even when we're all within a three mile radius of one another. I honestly love my line so much. We're so fun. And I love that we still hang out even though we're seven years and four generations apart.

And it was a mini Alpha Theta reunion! Half of us went to brunch, with ten of us in Santa Barbara this weekend altogether (+ Dad), which is pretty impressive considering that we were a pledge class of 16 and it's been three and a half years(!) since we crossed.

It was so lovely seeing everyone again. I really do miss everyone that's graduated (my class included!). But it's nice to know that we'll always come back for Alumni Weekend for Blender's, the loop, Wildcat, Campus Point, and everything else we love about Isla Vista.

And then after brunch we went to the Santa Barbara Fish Market and bought a pound and a half of fish for poke bowls! Poke is one of my favorite things. I am never tired of it. And this time we splurged for the ahi tuna, which was amazing.
